Autumn/Winter Beauty Favourites

I've been reading blog posts for a while now and one of my all time favourites to read is 'Monthly Favourites'' so, seeing as though I've only ever done one which was back in August I thought it was about time I shared with you a selection of beauty items I've been loving this past month.
At the beginning of this year I didn't even own a red lipstick, however now, I cant get enough of it. Red really is a statement colour and I believe that it can complement any makeup look, weather its a simple look or more complex look. Rimmel Kate Moss - 110 was the first red lipstick that I bought and ever since has been one of my favourite ever lipsticks. I never tend to pick up matte lipsticks as sometimes they can be too drying however, I like the finish it gives on my lips and I really do recommend it. Next is Rimmel Kate moss - 10 another red lipstick that I've been loving. I'd had my eye on this lipstick for ages and finally I cracked and bought it and I'm so happy that I did as its the perfect deep red which is a perfect colour for winter. Finally is Rimmel Moisture Renew - Sweetheart tulips, for school I don't like wearing statement colours like red or purple and yes its a dark pink but I think it's the perfect everyday colour and for the price you seriously cant go wrong!

This month I've also been loving 2 eye products. The sleek palette - Au Naturel and The Maybelline 24 hour colour tattoo - Metallic Pomegranate. The sleek palette is perfect for anyone who loves their warm brown tones or a brown Smokey eye as it has 12 different shades to chose from with only a couple with a few hints of glitter. The photo above doesn't really show the actual colours of the eye shadows but you'll have to trust me on this one. The Maybelline 24 hour colour tattoo is a warm red colour, its not as easy to blend as it does have a cream consistency however, if you take the time to really blend it into the crease you can achieve the true colour.
I love my nail varnish a lot and always love trying new ones but this month I feel like I've been relying on two colours as they are such beautiful colours. The first one is Nails Inc - Tate which is a deep red and Nails Inc - Piccadilly Circus which Is a dark berry colour with a hint of dark purple. Again I don't think these pictures show the true colour but believe me, they look stunning on your nails.
I've never really been interested in highlighters but recently I've been loving Sun Beam by benefit. When it hits the light its just gives you such a natural glow, which I absolutely love. Another cheek product is again by benefit and its the Fine one one. Its a cheek and highlighter all in one. Just like highlighter I never really wear blusher as I've got rosy cheeks anyway but I just love the finish it has and the highlighter is just perfect.
So there you go, some of my monthly favourites. What've you been loving this month, why not leave me a comment below? I'd love to hear them, or even better leave me links to your monthly favourites.
Enjoy your day,
Eleanor! X

Drugstore Stocking Fillers

So it's Christmas in just over a week and quite a lot of people will of finished their Christmas shopping however, its not Christmas without a few stocking fillers, so I have the perfect gifts just for you. All of which you can find in drugstores and are under or maybe slightly over £10 so you don't need to break the bank.

Firstly, Barry M lipsticks. If you're anything like me and you have a collection of lipsticks then one thing that I would love to see in my stocking is lipsticks and at a Bargain price of £4.49 you seriously can't go wrong. The colours range from a dark blue, to a baby pink so they have all the colours you need.

Also from Barry M are their nail varnishes. They have such a wide range of colours and finishes to choose from. They have the standard nail varnishes, Gelly nail varnishes, Glitters and crackle effects to choose from again, at a bargain prices. The nail varnished vary from £2.99 - £3.99.
Sticking to nails, if your not the kind of girl who has the time or patience to paint their nails then why not take a look at Elegant Touch - House Of Holland range? There are loads to choose from! You can go for the classic nude or if you're feeling more adventurous check out their entire range here. The prices vary between £7.99 to £8.99.
L'Oreal lipsticks are amazing for stocking fillers as the packaging and the formula is just so beautiful. There's loads to choose from and over the years L'Oreal have worked with many celebrities to bring out their perfect lip colour and recently they have worked closely with Julianne Moore to bring out another lipstick to add to the Pure Red collection at the price of £6.99.
I love watching YouTube video's in my spare time as well as reading blogs and some of my favourite Youtuber's are Zoe Sugg (Zoella), Tanya Burr and Sam and Nic Chapman. Starting with the Zoe, recently she has brought out her own collection which consists of 2 makeup bags/pencil cases, a candle, body lotion, body mist, shower cream and a fizz bar with the prices varying between £4.00-£8.00. Next is Tanya burr, she's brought out many lip-glosses' and nail varnishes but I thought I'd show you her range of eyelashes. They're 6 to choose from and at the price of £5.49 you can't go wrong. Sam and Nic chapman are to me absolute geniuses as they have a makeup brush for everything you'd possibly need also with amazing quality. The individual brushes have price range of between £5.99-£12.99.
An last but not least, is eye shadow palettes. I absolutely love my Au Naturel and at the price of £7.99 what isn't there to love? There are10 palettes to choose from and as well as being perfect stocking fillers, they're also perfect for building up a makeup collection.

Have you got any ideas for beauty stocking fillers, why not leave me a comment letting me know?

Victoria Beckham

When it comes to fashion, Victoria Beckham is always on point weather she's going to a fashion launch, or just on a flying visit with her kids. I wasn't actually born when spice girls first got together, however, when I was about 5, I knew their hit songs and loved dancing around my grandmas house to them, and I'm pretty sure their songs made a couple of appearances in mine and my sisters shows in her living room. If you don't know who Victoria Beckham is then honestly, where on earth have you been? Well if you don't I'll tell you, she's part of the spice girls (like I said above) and also, she is married to one of the best football players who goes by the name of David Beckham! (Lucky girl)

Only recently have I discovered how on point Victoria's fashion actually is, so I thought I'd share a few outfits of hers with you. Victoria also has her own range called Victoria Beckham (bet you wasn't expecting it to be called that was you?)

If you've been reading my blog for a while now, it won't be a surprise that I love a good nail varnish, especially from Nails Inc so I honestly cant even tell you how ecstatic I was when I found out she had teamed up with them to bring out a collection, which is available from Monday 8th December ahhh!!

What's your favourite Victoria Beckham look, why not leave a comment below telling me?

15 Festive Favourites Tag

I've been wanting to publish this blog post for quite a while now, but I really wanted to wait until December so today is the 3rd December so, here it is my '15 Festive Favourites'

As well as reading and writing blog posts, I also love watching YouTube videos in my spare time and its fair to say that some of my favourite YouTubers's as well as the predictable ones are Tom Fletcher (Part of McFly and more recently McBusted) and his wife Giovanna Fletcher (an amazing author) Tom came up with the tag 15 Festive Favourites which was completed by he answered and tagged his wife and anyone else who wanted to answer the questions. Seeing as though Christmas is just over a month away ahhhh I thought it was a perfect opportunity to answer these questions.

1- Favourite festive food?  Without a doubt a Chocolate Orange.
2- Favourite reindeer? When I was younger I only knew the name of one reindeer and that was Rudolf's so I was going to say him however, I'm not going to I'm going to say Cupid.
3- Favourite day of Christmas? regarding to the 12 days of Christmas, I'm going to say the second day of Christmas (2 turtle doves) as it reminds me of one of my favourite scenes in home alone 2 - Lost in New York (if you've watched it 100's of times like me you'll know exactly what I mean)
4- Favourite song? This one I really had to think about as I really do love them all, but in the end I decided on Shakin' Stevens - Merry Christmas Everyone.
5- Favourite present? I wasn't sure weather this question meant favourite present received or a maybe a favourite present you receive every year so I went with my first though and I'll say my iPad as I use it all the times not just to browse through social media but also write blog post and I can take it anywhere I want as its so light and easy to carry.
6- Favourite festive film? I'd say either, elf, Christmas with the cranks or jingle all the way, to be honest I don't really mind, I love all Christmas films.
7- Favourite festive cracker toy? I'm not sure what do you get in crackers? If I get a little game or something that usually keeps me entertained for about 5 seconds.
8- Favourite cracker joke? I don't usually like Christmas cracker jokes as I don't find them funny so I searched some and my favourite one was... Who is Santa's favourite singer? Elf'is Presley.
9- Favourite Christmas decoration? Fairy lights, as I think it they're just looks soo pretty.
10- Favourite Christmas candle scent? Well my mum has loads of yankee candles so it was quite hard for me to choose one but, last year my friend bought me the cinnamon stick for secret Santa so I'll go with that.
11- Favourite Christmas tv advert? Without a doubt the coca cola advert, me and my family look forward to it every year, because without it, it doesn't feel like Christmas.
12- Favourite festive tradition? Every Christmas eve I go shopping with my dad and then spend the day with the rest of my family drinking hot chocolate and eating mince pies and walnuts.
13- Favourite place to spend Christmas? I've never spent Christmas away from home so  I'll have to go with at home as I couldn't imagine spending it anywhere else to be honest.
14- Favourite festive fact? Because I said that the coca cola advert was my favourite Christmas advert I thought it was only right to go with this one - Santa’s suit was originally green before the colour red was used in paintings and famously used in Coca-cola’s advertisements!
15- Favourite snowman accessory? Cliché I know but, I'd have to say his carrot because seriously, what's a snowman without a carrot?

I would like to tag Meg and anyone else who is reading this and when you've done why not comment your blog post's below as I'd love to read them.

What's your favourite thing about Christmas, why not comment them below?

Enjoy your day,
Eleanor! X
