How To Style A Flower Crown - Clara Anglada

About a month ago a girl called Clara aka 'Grembs Blog' emailed me asking if I was interested in collaborating with her and obviously I said yes. She thought it would be a great idea for bloggers from different parts of the world, who have just started a blog to get to know other people in their position which I think is a great idea.

So here's Clara's blog post:

When you’re in the middle of summer you already know what the trends are, and with that I realized that this year what more of the girls are wearing as a trend are the ‘Flower Crowns’, but also celebrities wear them. Flower crowns can either look good on you or not, you can make them work or not, but if you have one and you know how to make them work on you and wear one that suits you, you’re ready for this summer!!! I never had the oportunity to wear one but for at least one day this summer I’m going to make them work on me, simply beacuse they can complement a simple outfit, also they can be good for a night out with your friends or going to festivals and anywhere.
I decided to show you 6 celebrities that can make flower crowns work with their own personal style.
To start things off, we have the lovely Selena Gomez, you may know her for the popular Disney Channel show ‘Wizards Of Waverly Place’ and for her amazing singing voice. She decided to wear this simple dress that is Shorter at the front and a bit longer at the back, she also decided to wear a pair of ankle boots with it and to complement her style, a pair of sunglasses, a white bag and a red flower crown which is a mix of flowers of different sizes but keeping it on the small side.

Next up we have another Disney star, Bella Thorne from Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, she was seen wearing this flower crown with a pair of shorts and a cut out t-shirt complemented with a pair of sunglasses. The flower crown that she’s wearing mixes all different sizes and colours of flowers.

Next we have the singer Katy Perry, she was wearing this flower crown on the ‘Smurfs 2’ movie premiere. She decided to wear a blue lace dress with a black belt, and she used the flower crown as a headband with flowers of the same size and all of them blue as honor of the Smurfs. She is also wearing a pair of sunglasses and a pair of earrings that complement her look.

Next is Zoella, known for her blog and  YouTube channel where she talks about all things, fashion and beauty. She’s wearing a different type of hair style, she decided to wear the flower crown with a bun instead of wearing it with her hair loose. Her flower crown has same size flowers but separated between each other.

Next is Vanessa Hudgens, we can’t talk about flower crowns without mentioning her. She loves to wear flower crown now and then. In the photo that I’ve chosen Vanessa is wearing a crop top with a high waisted skirt, two simple necklaces and a few bracelets. Her flower crown has medium sized flowers all together.

And the last but not least is Perrie Edwards, she’s ¼  of Little Mix, she was seen wearing this flower crown at the 2013 Brits, she is wearing it with a short lilac dress, a hand clutch and a pair of white high heels.

Leave a comment telling me how you style them and which style fits you better.
Have a nice day !! :D

Chelsee Healey

Not many people know who Chelsee Healey is, but if you do, you'll know that her fashion is always on point. Chelsee is mostly known as Janeece from Waterloo Road but has recently done modelling and is currently working on set with Casualty as the recurring role as Honey Wright, the emergency department's new tea lady, described as 'big hair and a big personality' but unfortunately won't be appearing on our screens until the sixth episode of series 29 in October. Just by looking through her Instagram you can tell that it's not just her fashion that's always on point, it's also her hair and makeup. Whether she's wearing a dress and a pair of Christian Louboutin's, or jeans and a pair of trainers, she always looks flawless. Everyday you'll see me scrolling through her pictures seeing if she's put up any new photo's, as I just love seeing how she puts outfits together.

Most of Chelsee's photos on twitter and Instagram are just like the ones above, and from them, its pretty easy to see that she loves her makeup and lets be honest, who doesn't? People may say that she wears a lot of makeup but really she doesn't, she likes to keep her makeup simple, but affective. She loves a good coverage foundation, a good contour, big lashes, bold brows and a nude lipstick.

If you flick through her Instagram you can also see that she loves the colour white. She also loves her heels and owns quite a few pairs of Christian Louboutins... Jealous!!

As well as a gorgeous dress or jumpsuit matched with a pair of heels, Chelsee also loves keeping her outfits pretty simple by wearing a pair of jeans and flats, and none the less still looks gorgeous. I honestly think that girl could wear anything and get away with it!

Lipstick Swatches (Part 2)

The Vintage Cosmetic Company

When it comes to luck, you rather have it or you don't, and if I'm honest, normally, I don't have any, but on the 3rd July It somehow happened to be my lucky day; All thanks to Danielle Peazer & The Vintage Cosmetic Company.

For anyone who doesn't know Danielle Peazer, she is a very successful Dancer, Model and beauty blogger over on Idle Lane Why not go check her out? You sure won't be let down! And as I blog more, it will become very clear that I am absolutely OBSESSED with her.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company are a beauty based company who sell a wide range of beauty accessories, brushes for every single thing you need to apply your makeup with and eyelashes to personally fit your style. Their cute products and packaging are based on the theme of the 1950's and just happens to be the best things I've even seen. When applying your makeup, I believe that it's not just about the quality of the product, I think it's equally as important to have a good set of brushes to apply your makeup with, as in my opinion it makes the finish look so much better.

So by now if you didn't know, I love everything beauty related, so when I won The Vintage Cosmetic Company competition on Idle Lane  I was extremely excited to see what my hamper held and here is what I received from them, I literally couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the things they had sent me!

I can officially say that The Vintage Cosmetic Company are my favourite beauty accessory company EVER! What's your favourite company for accessories, why not leave a comment below and let me know?

Barry M Gelly Swatches

Now that I feel I can finally say summer is closely approaching, I felt that it was an appropriate time to dig out my pastel nail polishes and share some of my favourites with you, and coincidently, pretty much all of them happened to be Barry M Gelly's, which only means one thing... A blog post. When it comes to painting my nails I just love it, so trying new colours is something I really enjoy. With nail varnish, I prefer brighter shades to neutral shades anyway, so the Barry M Gelly's are without a doubt, a must have! When painting my nails I'm a one layer girl, I can't do the whole undercoat, two layers and a topcoat because honestly, I'm just too Impatient, so for me it's my perfect match. I don't have many, but the ones I do have, I absolutely swear by them and for £3.99 you seriously can't go wrong!
