Monthly Favourites (Part 2)

If you didn't read my blog post on Wednesday then you won't know why this is 'Monthly Favourites Part 2' but basically I got carried away and wrote far too much so I included 5 monthly favourites on Wednesday and the other 5 on this blog post. So here's some other things I've been loving.

When It comes to eye shadow I'm a girl who likes to keep it quite natural and tends to stick to warm tones, so I though I'd buy the Sleek Pallet in Au Naturel and for the past 2 months I've been absolutely loving it.
About a month ago now I won a competition which meant I won loads of The Vintage Cosmetic Company brushes, and they're honestly the some of the best brushes I've ever used. They look so cute on my dressing table and they are amazing quality, I just love the way my makeup looks when I've used them brushes!

I think everyone has that 1 foundation they'll always go back to and for me its the L'Oréal true match foundation. Over the past couple of years I've tried loads and loads of different foundations but I've never found one that gives me the same finish, coverage or look as this foundation.

Another thing that I always go back to is the Barry M Gelly - Sugar Apple I've got over 100 nail varnishes but what ever colour I paint my nails, I'll just immediately want sugar apple back on my nails as I just love the colour sooo much!

The bourjois bronzing powder is probably one of the best things I've ever bought in my life and for £9.99 you honestly can't go wrong. Also, recently I've been loving using it as an eye shadow in the crease of my eye and it's gives it a lot of definition but also a soft subtle look, I know it sounds crazy using a Bronzer as eye shadow but don't knock it until you've tried it.

So there you go, the rest of my monthly favourites. What have you been loving this month, why not leave a comment below telling me?

Enjoy your day,

Monthly Favourites (Part 1)

I know its not the end or the beginning of a month but I thought I'd do my monthly favourites anyway. Some of the things I mention are products that I've not only been loving this month, but are still one of my favourite products after quite a while.

When I finished writing this blog post I realised how much I'd written with 10 things so I'm going to do a part 1 and part 2 monthly favourites with 5 on each (Part 2 will be up on Sunday!)

Firstly, is the Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm in cherry. Honestly, this has been an absolute life saver over the past couple of weeks because I constantly have dry, chapped lips and no matter what I use on them it's just never worked. So when I tried this I was just amazed and I really can't praise this product enough, you just have to try it!
Before I purchased the L'Oréal Micellar water I just used normal makeup wipes but for the past 2 weeks I've been absolutely loving using it! I honestly don't think I'll even go back to using makeup wipes ever again! Yes makeup wipes are the easy option but I've also seen an improvement in my skin, so personally I'd rather spend 10 minutes taking my makeup off if it's going to improve the look of my skin.

When I'm at school I only really wear baby lips or a nice pink lipstick as I think for me, a bright red lip is a bit ott for school, however, over the past six weeks I've pretty much wore Rimmel Kate moss 110 every single day and I just absolutely love how my lips look with it on.

Again, when I at school, I always wash my hair the night before and let It dry naturally but in these holidays I've been washing it in the morning, spraying a bit of Vo5 Plump it up volumizing spritz in my hair and blow drying it, because my hairs so long it's always flat to my head, so I've been loving the full, volumised look my hair has when I wear it down or even in a pony tail.

The only game I have on my phone is the Kim Kardashian game and that's simply because I download a game, play on it for few hours and just delete it as I find it boring. However. in these school holidays it's honestly been the cure to my boredom.

So there you go, my some of my monthly favourites. What have you been loving this month, why not leave a comment below telling me?

Enjoy your day,

My Trip To Wembley

For a girl, I enjoy watching rugby way more than I should and I'm definitely not afraid to admit it. I totally blame this on my brother though, as all my life I've grew up watching him play and one of my earliest memories is watching him play rugby

So when I had the opportunity to go and support my local rugby team, Castleford Tigers in the challenge cup final against Leeds Rhinos, I certainly wasn't going to say no, also why wouldn't I want to spend the day in London? The only down side of this was that I had to wake up super early; at a time that's not even classed as a normal to get up at and start the 5 hour journey to Wembley, alot of people who visit or live in London always complain about traffic so I was dreading it however, on the way there we didn't get stuck in any but on the way out of London we did. Even though I went to support Castleford Tigers I was super excited to see Kevin Sinfield (Captain of Leeds Rhinos) on the pitch.

I've been to quite a few concerts over the past 2 years in Leeds, Sheffield and Manchester and I've loved every single one of them and the atmosphere of them all have been amazing, however, at Wembley, the atmosphere was completely different (in a good way of course) and it's definitely an experience I'll never forget. On top of that, I'd be lying if I said I didn't join in with the chants.

Unfortunately we were defeated by Leeds Rhinos but it didn't stop us from chanting and waving our flags! I can honestly say it was one of the best days of my life I certainly will never forget! Here's a few pictures from my trip to Wembley.

                                         Wembley Way

                                        Wembley Stadium

I know this isn't beauty or fashion related, but I haven't done many lifestyle blog post's yet and after today I'm definitely going to do more as personally this has been one of my favourite blog posts to write.

What's an experience that you'll never forget, why not leave a comment telling me below?

Little Mix

Little Mix are my all time favourite British girl band consisting of 4 girls, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. For anyone who doesn't know who little mix are, they were the first ever girl group to win The X Factor in 2011 mentored by Tulisa. Originally, they were called Rhythmix but In the live shows they had to change their name and decided on Little Mix. The girls all auditioned as solo artists but were put together as a group at boot camp as they were all too good to let go of, they went on to finish the competition as a group and 3 years later are still together and class each other as sisters. Its fair to say that the girls always look flawless whatever they're doing.

As well as being singers the girls have many other talents and one of them Is their fashion which I'm sure you'll agree. They don't have a clothing line as of yet but they have worked with Collection to come up with their own makeup line and Elegant touch to design their own nails and nail wraps.

The girls wearing their makeup...

What's your favourite Little Mix look, why not leave me a comment below?

Michelle Keegan

When it comes to celebrities Michelle Keegan is without a doubt one of my favourites, as she is just perfect. So i thought I'd write a blog post on her just like my Chelsee Healey one but about her collaboration with Lipsy! For anyone who doesn't know who Michelle Keegan is, she just happens to be one of my all time favourite actors on Coronation Street and its fair to say that when she got killed off i was gutted, and since she left it just has been the same.

Recently, Michelle worked with lipsy to create her own clothing line and it's fair to say that the whole range is absolutely gorgeous. Her clothing line launched on the 2nd July but went on sale for the public on the 3rd July and has been a great success. Here's a couple of photos of her in the clothing, also I just had to include pictures of Danielle Peazer in Michelle's lipsy range, as by now, if you read my blog, you should know how obsessed I am with her. I didn't include all of Michelle's range, I just chose a few of my favourites.

Two of my favourite celebrities in one picture! Both wearing a jumpsuit from the Lipsy range.

Most of the range is mainly classy, elegant dresses so I thought I'd choose a few of my favourites.

I love these two dresses and the playsuit because they are all the same pattern so you've got a few choices to choose from, and just by adding a longer skirt and a slit up the side of the leg, makes it look so much more chic.

In the Michelle Keegan range there is a few black and white items of clothing, which I absolutely love.

Michelle also has 2 matching sets which consist of a pencil skirt and a top with the same pattern and colour.

And finally Michelle has included a few items of clothing which are definitely needed if you live in the UK with the constant cold weather. (Thanks Michelle)

You can't write about Michelle without including her fiancée Mark Wright can you? Well I can't anyway so here they are. Michelle's monochrome bandeau dress is launched on the 13th August.

What's your favourite piece in Michelle's clothing range, why not leave a comment below telling me?

How To Style A Flower Crown In Summer

I've been that busy this week I haven't had the time to write a blog post and because I didn't want to not upload anything, I thought I'd share with you my part of the collaboration I did with Clara - hope you enjoy.

As its slowly approaching summer and the weathers finally starting to pick up, summer clothes and accessories are starting to build up in shops and flower crowns are a big statement at the minute. With flower crowns, they either suite you or they don't and unfortunately for me, I don't think they do... however, I am determined to make one work on myself by the end of summer as I think they can really compliment a simple outfit. But for now I thought I'd leave it to the professionals who can definitely pull them off. So here's some different celebrities wearing a variety of flower crowns. Here's 5 of my favourite.

So lets start with one of my all time favourite actresses, Jennifer Lawrence, I don't think this girl needs any introduction to be honest, because if you don't know who she is, where on earth have you been? Jennifer's wearing a more simple crown with beautiful white flowers and green leaves.

Next there's Olesya Rulin, mostly known as Kelsi from High School Musical, there's no doubt about it, she looks absolutely gorgeous wearing a flower crown. Comparing this flower crown to Jennifer's I think it's a little bit more daring but I love how the pink and purple flowers look together.

Speaking of High School Musical, Vanessa Hudgens is one who also likes to wear a flower crown now and then. This is one of my favourites as I think red flowers really compliment black hair. Furthermore, I also love how she's gone for the beach waves to make her look even more summery.

Even though I'm guessing someone gave Kate this, I thought it would be silly not to give her any recognition as I love this flower crown on her.

I thought I'd leave best till last so here's Una Foden/Healy, for anyone who doesn't know who Una is, she's 1/5 of a very successful band called 'The Saturdays' I absolutely love Una's hair and I think this flower crown really complements the colour of it.

I know I said 5, but there's always room for 1 more, especially if its got anything to do with One Direction. So for anyone who thought it was just girls that can pull off flower crowns, you thought wrong! Because If I'm honest, I think the 1D boys and Tyler did quite a good job, don't you? (Especially Niall)

How do you style a flower crown, why not leave me a comment below telling me?
